In other news, my mum had a car accident 2 weeks ago, she's OK but the car was quite messed up so it has been very stressful, they've only just started fixing it now. Also our roof is leaking and the regular handyman guy can't find where it's coming from so a bit complicated and possibly expensive. Lucky its not a HUGE leak, and manageable until they find it.

Filmfest is coming up in 2 weeks so my annual review will be coming. I seem to have only managed to whittle my list down to 15 films, one more than last year.

Oh and I sorta got a promotion at work, I'm going to be in charge of the replicator area. Where most of our antibiotic susceptibility testing takes place. I've spent a few confusing afternoons last week learning to work out how many antibiotics we're going to need 6 months in advance.

Unfortunately it doesn't come with a juicy payrise, in fact it comes with more work and responsibility and no payrise. Although it will be handy in the future when I want one to be able to say "Hey! I do so have extra responsibilities."

Also the All Blacks beat the British Lions at Rugby in the weekend in the freezing hail in Wellington. (And you guys think Gridiron is a crazy sport your lads don't run around for 90 minutes in little shorts while its pelting with hail and probably about 3 degrees C) Yay!! Of course this weekend that means Auckland is expecting to be invaded by the entire "Barmy Army!" the 30-40,000 British Lions fans who have arrived to cheer on their (hehe loser)team.

It is v cold and my cat has found the warmest spot in the house.

I have a hard enough time remembering this lifetime's drunken night's out. Now I have to remember debauchery from a previous lifetime too? :P
